IMPORTANT – Basic Safety, Operating and Installation

Precautions:

 Unit must stay upright for 24 hours before use

 Unit must be vented to the outside

o Use included window installation kit and follow detailed installation

instructions in the Owner’s Manual

 Unit must be plugged into a grounded 60 Hz, 120 VAC outlet

protected by a 15 amp time delay fuse or circuit breaker

 Do not plug other appliances into the same outlet; it can overload

the circuit

 Do not use extension cord(s)

 Make sure the air conditioner is positioned where it will receive

proper ventilation

o Do not place it directly next to furniture or objects that could block

the vent openings

 Do not add extra hose length to the included exhaust hose; it can

affect unit performance
